Books + coffee= how to start a morning

So... I have a few book suggestions.

The Mortal Instruments series- This is a great series. There are characters you can't help but love or hate. The plot twists and turns and pulls you into the world of Downsiders and Shadowhunters. If you like fantasy and a dash of teeny bopper love and drama.

Rage- Teenage cutter turned into one of the four horsemen? Hell yes!!! I loved this book. If you are curious about cutting or know someone who cut(s) this can be a very informative book. Plus the storyline is wonderful. The characters feel real and like you'll getting to know them.

The Princess Bride- If you have seen the movie and liked it, you'll love the book. It's got everything from action, adventure, miracles, villains, heroes, pirates, and true love. Get the abridged verision to avoid long Moby Dick type passages. I highly highly suggest it. It's one of my favorites.

GRR... Mini Rant

So, I realize The Land Of Too Far is in the Bible belt. But, I am SO VERY sick of Christians who view themselves as better than non-Christians. Yeah, you go to church every Sunday,SO WHAT?
I work and pay taxes just like you. I spend time with my loved ones just like you. I laugh, joke, and read (probably very different things but still). I have faith in my beliefs. SO BACK OFF!!!!

It would be different if you had even a tiny gasp of my religion. But, after they do they little spill about how Wicca is bad and I ask them why, all they can say are things like "it's against the Bible". Okay, a point to you for kinda knowing your holy book. But, A) the Bible says it is not your place to judge (I was Christian for the first fourteen years of my life), B) you know nothing about my beliefs or usually who I am, and C) Bill of freaking rights!!!

So allow me to give you a few pointers on Wicca.
1. I do not worship the devil. (or believe in him or your Hell)
2. I don't just go around casting spells on people. (We believe what you send out comes back threefold.)
3.Harm none= most basic Wiccan rule.

Look, don't push your beliefs on me and I won't smack you.

Nicotine Kind Of Day

Today was totally a nicotine kinda day....

The morning was amazing. I ended up spending time with an awesome guy, who I'm now dating. =) He seems to be interested in more than my boobs, ass, and taste in music. Which is a nice change. We talked about the afterlife and what some of our political views are. So it would seem Claremore (nickname given by my friend, can you guess where he lives?) is interested in the gray matter in my mind. (NOT IN THAT WAY CHARLES AND DILLION!!!!!! PERVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) So that called for a Victory Smoke (or two)

Then shit hit the fan, hard.

I have a close girl friend (Chicken Little personified, crazy, and annoying somedays. But I love her anyway), who is having a few serious relationship problems. Well, I'm her safe outlet for them. Which is totally cool. I love helping my friends with their problems. But, there isn't much to be done in this kinda situation. And since she is super stressed and upset. I stressed and worried. Thus leading to Worry Smoking.

Then my plans got re-arranged several times. Which on a normal night wouldn't be as bad except tonight was graduation in our small town. And I had two very close friends graduating (along with several people who for various reasons I'm no longer friends with but wanted to clap for anyway) and didn't get time to finish their gifts. Which caused much cussing and chain smoking. (granted if i smoke three cigarettes one after another I toss the pack out of my reach for a few)

But, it was a bittersweet moment to see my freshmen walk across that stage.

Also, I forgot to take my meds today resulting in a bad headache. Not to mention I don't like crowds. Thus more smoking and bad words.

But, we hung out after the ceremony in a friends basement and BSed like none other. And it was great. (also we decided to start another D&d group! WOOOO!!!!) Which led to one last Victory Smoke.

All in all, not a bad day.

PB and J Wars

So I was informed recently that I'm not human. All because I don't absolutely adore peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Now, I'm not saying I hate them. I'm just not fanatical about them. I do not see what is so wrong about this.

I prefer my peanut butter with honey or bananas. Plus, I'm not big on grape flavored anything. Every once in a great while I will eat peanut butter mixed with some flavor of jelly. But not usually on bread. (which I'll admit is a bit odd)

I feel as if a person's humanity should not be judged on how they eat their peanut butter. But on something more meaningful (such as actions, beliefs, D&D alignment or some other cliche crap).
